Pairing
Connect a worker to a control plane with a device code, approve it, and optionally require an administrator's approval before it gets tasks.
- Open the worker's local UI. The installer opens it; for a manual start run
node dist/main.js --print-ui-url. - Choose My self-hosted server and enter the control plane's URL. A distribution with a hosted service may also offer Hosted service here.
- The worker shows a code such as
ABCD-1234. Open the approval page in the dashboard, check the machine details, and approve. - The worker receives a long-lived credential (
aow_…), stores it in the OS credential store, and connects.

If the organization requires worker approval (Settings → Organization), an administrator must also approve the worker before it receives tasks.
Revoking
Remove a worker in the dashboard to revoke its credential. The worker then shows unauthorized; pair it again
to reconnect.
