Workers on the managed cloud

Workers are the same program as for self-hosting: install one with the worker installation steps on each machine that should run tasks.

Pair with the cloud

In the worker UI, choose Hosted service if your worker package offers it, or My self-hosted server and enter the managed cloud's address. Approve the code in the dashboard.

What stays on your machine

• Your repositories: agents run in your project folders. The control plane receives task timelines (agent output, verification logs — which can include code excerpts), reports and artifacts, not your repositories.
• Agent logins and provider keys: in the machine's credential store.
• Git credentials: pushes and pull requests happen from the worker.

Plan limits

Approving a worker counts against your plan's worker limit. When the limit is reached, approving another worker returns a clear plan-limit error; upgrade the plan or remove a worker.

Network

Workers need outbound HTTPS and WebSocket access to the managed cloud only. No inbound ports, no VPN.
