Billing and plans
Trials, plans, checkout, the customer portal, failed payments, grace periods and what happens when a plan's limits are reached.
Managed cloud
Every member sees the Billing page; owners act on it.
Trial
A new organization starts on a trial. The account banner shows when the trial ends soon, and owners are notified in the dashboard and by email before it ends.
Choosing a plan
On Billing, owners pick a plan and billing interval (monthly or annual) and complete checkout with our payment provider. After returning from checkout, the page updates once the payment is confirmed. The customer portal handles payment methods, invoices and cancellation. Customers who are invoiced get their plan set by our staff.
Limits
Plans limit workers and members (pending invitations count as members). When a limit is reached, the action that would exceed it — approving a worker, adding or inviting a member — is refused with a plan-limit error, and creating tasks is refused when the organization has no active plan. Existing work is not deleted.
Failed payments and suspension
If a renewal fails, owners are notified and the organization keeps access for a grace period. After it, the organization is restricted until payment succeeds. Staff can also suspend an organization, for example for abuse; owners are notified when that happens and when it is lifted.
Notices
Owners receive in-app and email notices for: trial ending, trial ended, payment failed, plan changed, trial extended, suspended and resumed.
