OpenAI
Set up the OpenAI API — or a compatible endpoint behind a custom base URL — as an add-on provider for Codex, OpenCode, Aider and, through the gateway, the other agents.
Set up
- Worker UI → AI models → Add → OpenAI.
- Paste the API key. Optionally list models (for example
gpt-5-mini) and a base URL for a proxy. - Save and check health.
Codex, OpenCode and Aider use it directly. Claude Code and Gemini CLI use it through the model gateway.
Other OpenAI-compatible services
For vLLM, LiteLLM, Together, Fireworks or your own model server, use Other OpenAI-compatible with the service's base URL instead.
Troubleshooting
- Model cannot drive the agent: the model must support tool calls.
- 401: wrong key; 429: the account's rate limit — the provider is marked limited until a later check succeeds.
