Mobile configuration
Point the app at your server, sign in with any method through the browser, and preset a default server in your own build.
Server
At sign-in the app asks for your server URL. A build made with EXPO_PUBLIC_HOSTED_URL presets a default server —
that is how a distribution ships an app for its hosted service. Without it, the user enters one.
Sign-in
Sign in with your browser uses a device code: the app shows a code and a link, you approve it in the web app — signed in there with a password, Google, GitHub, SSO or two-factor — and the app receives its session. Codes expire after ten minutes and work once.
Build it
The app lives in apps/mobile of the core repository. The project verifies it by bundling it with Metro for Android
and iOS:
