Push

With COMMIT_AND_PUSH or PULL_REQUEST, the worker pushes the task branch to origin after committing.

Credentials

In order of preference:

1. A host token configured on the worker (Settings → Git hosting).
2. For repositories from the organization's GitHub App, a short-lived installation token limited to the task's repositories, requested from the control plane.
3. The worker user's own Git credentials.

Approval

With requireApprovalFor.push: true, the task waits for an approval before pushing.

When a push fails

"Push failed" or "No origin remote" is reported in the task's Git result. The commit is kept locally; configure credentials for the worker user and retry. Force-push is refused.
